Pokemon Orange

The Generation I Pokemon games was based on colors such as Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. That’s where Pokemon Orange comes in, where it is a ROM hack of Crystal, but the story takes place during the events or after Gen 1.

This hack bases its game on the Orange Islands, which was a location that appeared in the anime. That being said, this hack goes beyond just Gen 1. We’ll tackle all the things that make this game tick and what you can expect.

Story

Your character hails from Valencia Island, and you hear stories of the character Red from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green. You finally get the chance to be a trainer when you are tasked with delivering the GS Ball to Professor Oak, but this Oak hails from the Alola Region. That’s where your adventure begins, and you’ll be carving your own story.

Features

The Pokemon roster in this game is all over the place. There are some Gen 7 Pokemon and those with their Alolan Forms and the famed Crystal Onyx. There are also original Orange Island versions of some Pokemon. The stats are updated until Gen 7, and some things have been added or changed. Players also get to explore the entire Orange Archipelago or Islands. New Pokemon cries have also been added and a whole lot more.
