The Bike Feature in Pokemon Emerald
The bike is a form of transportation that the players can access at any given time when they already have it in their inventory.
Players can even put it on the SELECT button that allows them to use the bike right away without opening the menu.

You don’t need to worry about which bike you choose. The ability to change the bike is possible, but you have to go back to Rydel for it.

Seaside Cycling Road

This road is sort of a shortcut but is also littered with trainer battles. It’s perfect if you need money and experience.
Safari Zone
There are areas in the Safari Zone where you can access with the right bike.
You can get a Solar Beam TM when using the Mach Bike. For the Acro Bike, you can get a Calcium.
The Sky Pillar
This is the big one and probably a good reason to get the Mach Bike. This is where players will battle Rayquaza.
Going up the pillar requires the Mach Bike due to the parts where there are cracked floors.
