You can find master ball In Team Aqua’s hideout, located east of Lilycove. Alternatively, you can get it in the Lilycove department store lottery corner.

Hey Dylan, the cheat work perfectly on mGBA. The issue might be your Emerald ROM version. Can you confirm if you’re using the US version or the Trashman Emerald version? These are the versions we test cheats on. Unfortunately, we don’t test cheats for non-US Emerald versions.
Just came here to say that when using the cheat, the master balls appeared in my item storage on the PC, not the mart. It’s still unlimited, but a different way of accessing them.

Hello I’m trying to use the masterball codes for my action replay but none of the codes are working trying them for emerald .
I have gba emulator for IOS. Tried code for box and poke mart each. Neither worked. Restarted game. Still nothing. Any useful advice to get cheat to work on this specific app would be helpful.

I’m using VBA with Pokemon Emerald Version 1.0 I can’t get this or rare candy etc to work, I use cheats from here on gen 1,2,3 etc with no issue but for some reason no luck with Emerald, any ideas?

Hey, thanks for getting back to me so quickly! This is the version I am using, I believe I ed it from here for this exact reason some time ago. It turned out I was using cheats for Firered 1.0 on Firered 1.1 which is why it was not working. However I have tried Emerald 1.0 and 1.1 with every variation of cheat I could find and no luck, everyother game from gen1-3 is working fine with cheats.
Ahhh ok so I just figured it out, for some reason I have to disable then re-enable the cheats in Emerald. Ruby etc in order for them to work! Thanks

The code works, but creates an item as a bunch of question marks in the store, and after purchasing, I have 30 of them. However, now, it is in my inventory as “???????” and is not in the folder in backpack for types of pokeballs, but instead is in basic index. Is it broken or am I still able to use this code and am missing a step?
